Approve Cancellation

POST /post-order/v2/cancellation/{cancelId}/approve

This method approves a buyer's order cancellation request on behalf of the seller.Important! Due to EU & UK Payments regulatory requirements, an additional security verification via Digital Signatures is required for certain API calls that are made on behalf of EU/UK sellers, including this method. Please refer to Digital Signatures for APIs to learn more on the impacted APIs and the process to create signature to be included in the HTTP payload. If the order is eligible for cancellation and the seller agrees, this method cancels the order and notifies the buyer of the cancellation.

This method has no request or response payloads. The cancelId value is passed in as a path parameter and if the order is successfully cancelled, an HTTP status code of 200 is returned.

This method is not supported in the Sandbox environment.

The seller approves the buyers request for an order cancellation.

Description

Sellers must approve all buyer-initiated cancellation requests before an order is actually cancelled.

There is no payload with this request. Supply the cancellation ID as a path parameter in the call.
